I've studied and practiced Jyoshinmon shorin ryu karate for a good 16 years now i can say, and for one thing, even with the skills and technique i developed I cannot fight off a good boxer or bjj artist, since i now i have very open weak points, not the style, me, like my extremely slow un responsive reflexes, ha! Not the art, but you.

You guys don't do martial arts, why bother them? That's JiuJitsu Techniques, Judo Techniques, Mixed JiuJitsu Judo Techs (WTF), imobilizations, ippons, mwatsageris, etc. That's a weird dojo, hehe.

I once trained karate, made it to orange belt but eventually quit. Sorry, but I found it very useless. I mean I just learned some combat poses and the like, but judo seems more effective for me so I think it's way better than karate. Just my opinion, OK?

C'mon. I get striking isn't a big thing in these martial arts..but atleast hold proper form.

@cezaar32 My uke was a beginner in judo at that time and hes much bigger than me so its was hard to show it perfectly... I would never wear a black belt if i doesn't worth it. It's against the spirit of judo! XD

I can't believe that the judo guy is black belt! I mean come on I understand that there are no kicks and punches in judo (which explains why he is so lousy at hitting) but that's not a reason not move side to side and create angles to grab on something to apply techniques!

@mozbius I am really black belt in judo... this is not a judo fight so i was trying to do some other stuff and stand still with my friend at karate!
