@BigReub21 All i did was tune it up and do some custom refab on the wood....that was back when i was working at a cabinet shop....I sold the truck and the guy that bought it took the motor/trans/rear out of the truck and put it into a demon he was restoring....the truck now has a slug of a 360/slushbox auto/ and a 3:55 gear....a FAR cry from what it was when i owned it but oh well....I now own a SVT Cobra and have plans for one day owning another old school muscle car when i get out of college

did this truck came from the factory with a 4 speed?? i thought all the LRE trucks were automatics

Nope, this truck was HEAVILY modified from stock...They came stock with a 360/727 auto/ 3:55 combo.....mine had a 340 stroker/A833 4 Speed/ Dana 60 4:56 gear....

my family has had a few of these . I remember my dad taking me and my brother for rides in 78 . One of the coolest most badass american rides . Cool video !
