This film is all about busker Mark Campbell; the only busker who's allowed to whistle on the London underground network. He happens to be blind, and is assisted full-time by Craig Crawford Jones, who also appears in the film.
Mark is the whistler featured in the incidental music for the film. This music was performed entirely by an orchestra of buskers and street musicians which includes The Beacontree Brass Band.
The four films which make up The Busker Symphony were produced by Julie Clare and composed and directed by Benjamin Till.
I know Craig, the whistler's escort in this video

Great video! I sat across the aisle from you in the train up to Birmingham the other day and couldn't help overhearing your conversation (and plugs for your youtube video;) I was fascinated by your busking stories and your incredibly positive outlook on life! What an example! Keep you your good work Mark. God bless you...

I have heard you many times when travelling through the District & Cirlce line tunell through to the Victoria Line @ Victoria Underground station. It is good to hear about who you are and your past.
Keep it up and I wish you all the best.

I had the pleasure of bumping into Mark on holiday in Barcelona a few years ago and you honestly could not hope to meet a more thoughful, intelligent, caring and interesting man. I urge anyone to just talk with him. Cheers for posting this, Benjamintill.
