because the only reason to consider these guys is based on their policies, not on their race. I like to believe that this is how a lot of us republicans operate, anyway: color blind, at least compared to the dems. Based on their merits: I think Jindal and Steele are better than most of the current alternatives

Government austerity does not work in recessions. Unfortunately, not everyone is well versed in Keynesian economics. Fiscal stimulus raises the demand function.
