nice solos, but the but the bass line is much more dominant and has a much more distinctive synchopation than a straight brazilian bossa beat. His dad was Cape Verdean, and that's where the bass pattern/beat is built on. But, I love the solos.

Very very good, but be careful with the structure, Song for my father is an AAB Theme, not an AABA.
Horace Silver made it by this way.

Slinky, sly tune...Very well handled here with multiple sound effects. Always interests me how good jazz players know the scales that go with jazz tune meodies and chord changes. So much to learn and discover. Nice...
Say Eeco, did you ever play Debussy's First Arabesque? That's one of my favorite classical pieces. What are your favorites? Have you stopped playing classical, or still once in a while study pieces?

I've stopped playing classical, it's not really my thing anymore :). I love swing and I will keep doing that. Although sometimes in the weekend I listen to classic songs, not opera but mostly piano.
