Does the safetycar take up one space from the six racecars so you only can race five cars when using the pacecar?

very nice awesome but i would not want to have a set up that i couldnt change unlesss it was very very cool ...awesome eye for detail ,I just atarted the digital scx and its the best ...I just bought a safty car for 155 on e bay I guess its very hard to find so i broke my self to do it its fun when ur alone .my lights on top only blink and the frint lights only go bright and dim the back dont do nothing is this the way it suppose to work .....

This race track is the best. I'm buying a digital set for my sons 8 and 9 (they already have an analog scalextric), can you tell me what would be the best SCX set? I can spend up to $600 to start.

@ghainos Thanks. I would suggest you to get a 3-car digital set and add your choice of accessories later on. The types of cars really depend on your liking whether it be GT, Nascar or F1, I chose the GT one for my first set as I like those cars. I also recommend online stores like Hobbylinc and BRS Hobbies if you don't have a local hobby shop nearby. You can actually get more for your money if you start with 2 sets right away but you have to spend more than $600.

you press a button in the controller before reaching the cross over track to change lane. sorry, i've added a lot of stuff on this and can't remember how much i spent already.

Did you convert cars that was not SCX?

Haven't done it myself yet but I know some guys who did a few already. I did the SCX analog ones so far.
