Derek has been away from home for 2 years, distancing himself from his mother and life back home. But in the end, his dreams have gotten him nowhere and he reluctantly decides to return home. To his surprise though, his new step-dad and family are not what he expected, and this new life might just be what he needs most.

*Our goal with this series is to show a general audience who might not be used to seeing Asians as a typical TV family, that seeing our faces in these roles should not be strange. We have a place among everyone else and we can all get along and make great content. We're excited to be working with FremantleMedia who sees the potential for Asian Americans in the mainstream media. We hope you can share and support this new project.

  • My name is han:)

  • when the dad goes i make it raiin LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Most of the time I watch asian drama's. Most of the time those drama's have better stories than most of the drama's on 'international' TV.

  • @fathomthisss I hope that was sarcasm. There's always a point or a lesson to learn from these... and if you don't see that than they don't need your sub. Everyone knows in the end he's going to be all accepting... No one is going to just suddenly "accept" everything, it takes time, and Wong Fu shows that it CAN happen if you're patient. Not sorry that you're gone. They might care about your one unsub but I'm surely not sad.

  • Furthering asian interests by making whites look like racists? Uh huh. Unsubbed

  • @TheBearBasics did you get 41 thumbs up ?

  • The dad is the dad in Supah Ninjas lol

  • this needs to be longer than four parts! it has such great potential and it's better than more than half the nonsense on tv these days ^___^

  • oh i'm makin her happy...

  • The guy who plays the dad is a good actor.
