For a finale, I thought Gene was rather subdued in his opening, needed a bit more gusto I think.

@BananamanNY It was actually Bert Convy who hired her for the daytime version of Win Lose or Draw. The other executive producer, aside from Bert Convy, was Burt Reynolds.

Hope if the Talk fails, CBS should do a pilot and bring this back. Its timeless.

No. This is his third-to-last.
He did The Price is Right in 1985 and Wordplay afterwards in 1987.

Gene Wood in any Goodson game show is alright in my book. The Price is Right might be another story...
