First of all, JFK was a great man and president.

Second of all, it is true, America did some very bad things in its past. Lied, broke treaties, capitalized at the expense of other people and cultures, you can not escape these facts.

Most importantly now is, learn from our past and MOVE ON. We can not change the past, PERIOD. But we can learn from it, it's not easy obviously since so many mistakes are always repeated, but, nether the less, that should be an important goal.

oh wow one black man.
does that really justify everything the whites did?
Does it justify killing a whole culture, the whites didnt just destroy north america they destroyed every single culture and killed of the natives from north, south and central america. you think a piece of land, free scholorships and "chances" really make up for everything thats happened?
yeah i dnt think so.

Hold on there pal let's not get racial. You need to study up on your history just a bit. It wasn't just what the "whites" did. When black slavery was at it's peak it was the black leaders in Africa that sold out their own people to the slave traders. Tthe slave traders came from every race not just the "whites". There have been many atrocities commited not just in American history but also world history. I fail to see how that effects your opportunity to captain your own ship. That an excuse.

Get over it dude. The whites did not destroy an entire culture. Just because life has treated you so badly it is not the whites fault. What more you want. There is a black president. That is a testament that if you are black you can become the most powerful person in the world. If you are lazy then you won't which I assume you are since you are pointing the finger to the whites.
