@maarabas Quite the contrary. It's a common mistake to think that the smiling embouchure is NOT wrong. Most people who are self taught or have friends who are simply self taught think that it doesn't matter because in reality they just don't have any way of knowing any better, but if you actually take lessons, you'll know. The smiling embouchure makes it hard to control both your tone quality and pitch. Everything becomes too sharp, pitch and timbre alike.

Just recently (3 days ago) I decided to switch from Trumpet, to Flute, I am making great progress, I can already play B-C-D-E-F-G-A Quickly together. Someone tell me if this is Good progress or not.
