It is too late to reward like this and this is nothing to him. HE IS THE ONLY ACE INDIAN DIRECTOR WHO HAS WON 12 INTERNATIONAL AWARDS. There are only 3 Indian films listed in TIME MAGAZINES ALL TIME 100 BEST MOVIES TO TILL NOW AT NEW YORK, USA. Maniratnams NAYAGAN was one of them. His film ROJA was the only Indian film to feature in TIME Magazine's "10 Best Soundtracks" of all time.BBC rated "Rakkamma Kaiya Thattu" from THALAPATHI as fourth in the world's top 10 most popular songs of all time.
