Very pretty---doesn't she still perform (by choice)? I seem to remember a few years ago, she had a concert in Los Angeles.

I heard she has young children, so perhaps she is concentrating on them at this time in her life.

Linda still performs quite a bit. She still does tours, though the last year or so she has taken a well deserved break. But rest assured, Linda is far from retired.

To those who say that Linda's vocal is not quite up to par here, let's keep in mind that she did this performance at 7 o'clock in the morning. Think about that, wake up, clear your throat, go to the studio and try to sing like you have had hours to prepare.

All that considered, I still find this particular performance very sweet. Even when she isn't at her best, she is still light years above so many.

I'm so glad somebody posted this song here. She's such a powerful singer, part of that power comes from her control. She proves that just because a song is sung gently, it doesn't mean it's not without strength!!!

I have been in love with Linda for years .Linda , I wish you would find this note.Adam Mitchel was my old friend and yours. Since the Stone Ponies I have been a fan like so many others ,then when you did that stint on TV with "Its been a long time" totally great. She started so young and so well. I fell in love with her voice in high school and didn't know who I was listening to. Few songs out there are as hauntingly beautiful as Blue Train. She could take any mundane jingle and make it glitter with those silky smooth tones only she possesses. I'd love to perform with her, just to have the honor. Are you listening Linda? I've written a couple you'd immortalize if you'd do them. I hope she continues recording treasures like this one!
