IBT Carhaul Director Fred Zuckerman on February 12, 2010 spoke at a rally for UAW 2244 NUMMI Toyota Fremont workers. He talked about the
more than 50% loss of jobs for IBT members nationally at the IBT Transport & Automotive division and the loss of 1500 to 2000 jobs at NUMMI Toyota and suppliers.

State laws protect the workers so workers, who work, know what they are going to get paid prior to applying for a certain job. The only way owners can get over on the workers is to change the state laws that protect the workers. This is why corporations are not allowed to fund and endorse candidates, however the corporate UAW is allowed to fund and endorse candidates and as a result forced two car manufacturers to file bancruptcy and the third makes junk... Toyota will be on top by the year end.
