He set a crazy mood for Crysis 2 with that music and it is SO applicable to this current topic. The physical realm on a Nano level blows my mind no matter how many science classes I take or how much I understand it.

@HighrockTendales PREPARE TO HAVE YOUR MIND BLOWN INTO A MILLION PIECES: That, according to a couple of different sites found using a reverse image search, is a SNOW CRYSTAL. The blobby things are water droplets, frozen in place. It was photographed at a ridiculously low temperature (because electron microscopes can't photograph liquids - they need a vacuum to operate).
