This is the tech era. We are right now inventing the tech that the future will be built upon. At the rate we're going, by the time we get to the future, we will have invented all the ways to conserve and replenish nature and resources. So, if in the interim it requires us to consume resources at this rate, in order to build a self-sustainable system for the future, so be it. It all levels out in the end. Gotta love it. Big oil steals cars that can change our output on the world along with electric cars but that's ok.
