Recycling instead of Disposal
The removal of fecal sludge 1-2 times a year used to be an unavoidable necessity when operating a small sewage treatment plant. In the future, sludge disposal will be the largest cost factor when operating a small sewage treatment plant. However, REWATEC also has a revolutionary solution for this challenge.
SCS the Sludge Composting System. SCS is your opportunity to rid yourself of the costs of sludge removal. For SCS actually solves all problems of sewage disposal. The only thing that is left over is purified water and high-quality compost.
Instead of the usual sludge storage, only a compact sediment chamber is needed for the SCS system, which is patented across Europe. The solids deposited are pumped into the so-called separator once each day. The solids are retained there and the excess water runs back into the sediment chamber.  Removing the water means that the volume of the sludge is reduced considerably and natural composting can begin.
The maintenance company moves the resulting raw compost cake to the SCS Thermo Composter for final composting. In this way, hygienic, usable compost is created within one year, which can be recycled as a useful raw material.
