insolent crowd. thinking they're punks by not showing respect to Mike and laughing at him. Place them in his shoes and they would never be able to do it. .. The name of the song demonstrates a great bond between Fat Mike and his mother. I had no idea what Michelangelo's "La Pieta" was before I heard this. Now that I do I've gained that much more respect for Fat Mike. The lyrics of this song don't give you a clue as to what their relationship really was, not like the statue does. Mad respect for having the balls to stop the hurting pain of a loved one. Cancer blows......
