The shelter is full to the brim with cats! We have cages in the upstairs hallways and offices, as well as in the back hallways where we normally keep dogs. We're trying to adopt out as many as we can and we need the public's help.

  • I found several stray cats if anyone would like to adopt one or more contact me asap!

    I live in toronto !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish i could adopt all of them, i love them so much and feel so bad for them all being alone with no one to love.

  • when you adopted one from the humane society, did it have any cost?

  • they're just watching us with pleading eyes saying "please, adopt me!" i feel so bad...

  • All the wonderful kitty deserve good homes. Both my cats were strays, one rescued from the streets and one from the humane society and they are both neutered and taken very good care of. They bring me soooo much joy :D

  • I got my cat at the THS

  • Also, I think these shelters should try to get some deal from the vets as to spaying female cats only. That would be a big help to those welfare cases that adopt cats but feel no need to spay the them.

  • The Canadian govt. should have a new law absolutely making it mandatory for at least female cats being spayed. Far too many stupid mothers out there seem to want their kids to see live births of kittens but not having a damn clue what to do with them once they're born and weened from the mother. God I hate people like that. Serious govt laws need to come into effect towards spaying and neutering for sure.

  • Toronto humane society, you guys are awesome!

  • aww, she's so cute! I am adopting a cat from the THS very soon :)
