After School-
As I walked out of school I could hear footsteps following behind me.
Chills running down my spin, I began to pick up my pace, turning the corner.
Demi, wait up!, a familiar voice called out.
I turned around, a small smile creeping on my face, Hey Miles, I said, approaching her slowly.
She smiled warmly, quickly giving me a hug, I got the best idea!, she beamed.
I shook my head, smiling, what is it?, I asked, looking up at her.
She stopped walking, clasping her hands together, are you ready for this?
I rolled my eyes, yes, Im ready.
Are you positive?!, she asked, leaning in.
Miles, I yelled out, get to the point!
She chuckled, grabbing my hand, calm down, she began, my idea was that we have a girls night out, just like the old days.
I looked down, biting my lip, I dont know.
Miley nudged me, oh come on, itll be fun.
I shook my head, I know, I sighed, & it feels like theres no room for fun in my life anymore.
She pinched my nose, Dont say that babe!
I pushed her hand away, lightly chuckling.
Miley slid her cell phone out.
What are you doing?, I asked, peering over her shoulder.
She began to dial someones number, Im calling Selena.
I cocked my head, why?
She smiled, Im going to invite her over, and your going to have a girls night with us missy!
And before I could protest Selena had answered the phone.

Miley:*twirling her hair* Hey Selena!
Selena:*chuckles* Hey Miles, whats up?
Miley: *smiles* Nothing much, just wanted to know if you wanted to have a girls night with me and Demi.
Selena: Thatd be great, just let me ask my uncle.
Demi:*sticks tongue out at Miley, mutters* Loser..
Miley:*smiles, gasping* Jerk!
Demi:*bobbles head* Oh, no, you didnt! *giggling*
Miley:*laughing* I sure as hell *pauses, bobbles head* Diiidd!!
Demi:*chuckling, playfully rolls eyes* Oh shut up
Miley:*smirks*
Selena: BACK!*beams*
Miley: Here!*giggles*
Selena: *chuckles* Miles, is it okay if its at my house?
Miley:*smiles* Yeah, actually thatd be great. *thinks of Nick*
Demi:*rolls eyes, knowing what Mileys thinking about*
Miley:*sticks tongue out* Mhmm.
Selena: *tells her the address*
Miley: Ok, bye Sel, see you in a few. Bye. *hangs up*
-Back to normal-
She turned to me, smiling widely, now go take a shower, and meet me at Selenas place, okay?
I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest, Why do you have to be such a mom?
She sighed, because if I wasnt you would be here wearing your shirt backwards & smelling like cheese.
I playfully gasped, that was once, okay? & In the 2nd grade!
She smiled, well arent you glad I was there?
I rolled my eyes, wrapping my arms around her, fine, Ill see you then.
She pulled away, & began to walk home.
Bye Miles, I called out to her.
Bye Dems, she replied, now fading into the distance.
-6:00 pm-
I was quickly getting dressed, careful not to brush anything against my wounds.
With my red skinny jeans, dinosaur graphic tee, and red converse, I was ready to go.
I was heading out the door, lightly limping as I began to walk down the street.
Selenas house was only a couple of doors down mine.
I knocked on the door only to be greeted by Nick & Mileys arguing.
Doofus, I could hear Miley call out to him.
Selena sighed, now play nice guys, she said stepping towards the door, opening it up for me.
Hey Demi!, she gleamed, pulling me in.
Ignore those two, she said wiping her hands on a dish towel.
I chuckled, walking over to Nick.
Hey Nick, I greeted, sitting beside him.
He was pouting, glaring at Miley.
Baby!, Miley said, sticking her tongue out at him.
I shook my head, looking over at Selena, who mouthed, I know.
Need any help?, I asked, standing up and walking over to her.
She pulled out a tray from the oven, yeah, can you call Joe for me, please?
My heart began to race as she mentioned his name.
