Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow had one big play against Hawaii. That was enough. His teammates had the rest, a welcome change for No. 5 Florida and an early indication of just how potent the Gators could be this season. Florida scored on offense, defense and special teams -- getting big plays from six different players -- and routed Hawaii 56-10 in the season opener for both teams. Saturday, August 30, 2008.
thats too bad, Hawaii is really going to struggle this year. I predict them to be around #5 in the WAC.

Herman Frasier who is now at Miami made this schedule and instead of booking someone as tough as Florida for last years schedule he makes them the first team that the REBUILDING Warriors play and it's at the Swamp where Florida is 19-1 wow No wonder He got Fired. It ain't a embaresment compared to who they lost to they lost to the 5th ranked team in the nation now if they lost to someone in division 2 to this score then that would be embarassing.

tyler didn't even make the trip. He had some problems that he had to take care of in the off season.. so he was not able to take part in fall practice. Which means it was only right to give the starting to alexander and raush. Inoke I wish him the best of luck and if anything i hope grankee will be ready to go if all falls.

Why didn't Tyler Grankee Start? he would have put up at least another touchdown. Not a UH fan, but even i know this. just an embaresment loss for the WAC, shouldn't have been that big of a blowout. Who start the season opener against Florida?. Like 9 hours away form Hawaii.play a home game first then go2 the swamp.

Rangerssux the defense did not give up 56 points. You have to look at all areas, it included specials team, interceptions, etc. Defense played well in my opinion we just gave up some big plays and we did contain Tebow as much as we could.

They shouldn't feel bad at all they blanked them in the first Quarter then they marched down field and Should've Scored first and belive me that would've made a difference instead it was a interception which that change the Game. If Funaki Started it also could've maybe played out different. But Defense wise they did Good compared to what I thought was gonna happen. Not bad at all for a team that lost all there stars on offense.

Hawaii really shouldn't feel bad. I still think june jones is a coward for leaving before facing the "system quarterback" but hawaii is a good team for the wac. plus, playing in the swamp and actually winning is a hard thing to do.
The guys behind my seat said that hawaii was used to the hot weather but The Swamp isn't just hot, it's humid as hell.
