@frawley97 No words have been twisted what so ever... now you sound like a sobbing democrat, lol. So you agree that being taller (for some)... is some what harder to press heavier, right?. If so i agree. Now the weight/fat agenda is also factual on many people. Fat dudes intent to press heavier regardless of how much time they spent at the gym appose to skinnier people, well a vast majority do. Anyhow that was the agenda at hand before, fat vs skinny not a D1 scholarship.
@martinez418 You sound like a republican lmfao. You twisted every single word that I said to make it a point for yourself lol. Read the information I said and dont read them how you want to hear them. I do lift actually lol. 4-5 days a week. Im not the strongest dude around but I do understand that as a person who is 6ft 2 that it is harder to press being tall. Idc how dedicated you are and what you think you know. You're ignorant to the topic of weightlifting.
@frawley97 Now for you to also state that strength does not come naturally... then you're wrong. It's evident you don't lift at all or spent time outside your basement to know this dude. There's people out there like I've said before that don't work out but are just naturally strong. My buddies... don't work out, they're at 300lbs + probably hit the gym twice a month, and yet they're pressing 415lbs 10 times. And they're fat dude, explain that kid?.
@frawley97 Now just imagine if those fat dudes, (my buddies) dedicated themselves in lifting like I have... they'll be bench pressing a fucking bus by now.
@jeffnerohardy24 No. I never said ''he has to lower the bar 2'' lower,'' that is why he's able to lift heavier/more reps, lol dude... read again. You're better off saying, HE doesn't have to lower the bar 2'' lower appose to the other guys that do because they have a smaller torso. Some Fat dudes could just lift heavier naturally appose to those slender fit guys that been lifting for years. If you lift, you would know this.
@frawley97 You ignorant fool. D1 scholarship means nothing in terms on how heavy can you lift, lol. I've been lifting for about 15 years also, i weigh in at 230lbs and pressing 415lbs 3 times. Tried doing heavier, but to difficult. For some reason i can do and extra 20lbs when i gain 10 above my 230lbs in weigh. I know guys that don't lift weights a lot but weigh in around 300lbs or more & they just play with the 415lbs in pressing appose to those lifting 1/4 of their lives. It's fat
@frawley97 than tall. Its natural because the shorter person doesnt have to lower tha bar as far. None of this matters though. The fact of the matter is that he can press well over 500pounds and you might be able to get 225 on a good day so give it a rest.
@martinez418 Youre as ignorant to this topic as anyone Ive seen. The man had a D1 scholarship and is on the US Olympic team. This means he has probably been lifting for at least 15 years. Strength just doesnt come naturally to the point that he has it. He's worked for the strength that he has. Also, part of the reason he is so high to the bar is because of his insane back strength. His lats are probably huge. You're arguement about "fat" is as relevant as height. Short can do more
@martinez418 Okay so youre saying because he only has to lower the bar about 2 inches further it makes him able to press 200kg? No it doesnt. It might make him be able to do another rep? if that
