I've been listening to this song for years for it's rythmic, haunting sound...not really ever thinking too much of what it may actually mean. I still don't really understand the song or the video. Untimately it matters not to me though. It's a cool tune from a musical standpoint...and that's good enough for me.

How edgy and surreal... Elegantly defying the boundaries of what's right and wrong in a way only Bryan Ferry could put it. The tune itself is one of a kind, and the artist hit the bull's eye with his image... just imagine comparing him to a beach guy wearing speedos, lol. Both the sound and the video are truly inspiring... There is something about true art that simply doesn't need explanation.

I went to see him on the Mamouna Tour twice ... once in Wolverhampton and once in Aston ... Totally blew me away ... Have loved Bryan/Roxy since I was 11 years old and I'm now 50 and still love his music xx When is he on tour again? I am having withdrawal symptoms and need a fix of his totally brilliant music ... and of course his sexy moves xx

Sorry, much as I love Ferry as well as his work w/RM, I have to agree w/Fairyslippers. I scrolled down after watching a bit 'cos I love the song and didn't see the point in continuing. (And yes, it IS a super driving song, esp. in summer--even w/o the top down). Clicking back to the Avalon vid, which I DO love.

BTW, I think the problem isn't a lack of imagination; it's that there could be more left to the imagination.
