What is with the shank nails? Nobody does that anymore. And what is with all the nails in the heels, you only need 3 if your useing good glue.

@kubrick681 hi there we put the nails in the waist because we wouldnt want them to get caught in the iron we use very good glue in our heels but we dont have any complaints

Your curved needle should have a knife built in it......makes a much nicer job and no need to pre groove the soles.

the cost of shoe repair in the UK is absolutely outrageous and the quality is not as high as elsewhere

I dont believe in nailing the waiste of the shoe if your graft line in nice and flush. and if your stitching the sole on then there should be no need for nails!

Heels are usually put on with about 9 staples anyway!
