Welcome to part two of my playthrough of Burai Fighter Deluxe, a 1991 Game Boy shoot 'em up from Taxan.
Burai Fighter Deluxe is a horizontally and vertically scrolling shooter, based off the NES original released a year earlier. Despite the title bearing the word "deluxe", this is more of a downgrade if anything, as the predecessor's overhead-view levels were removed, leaving just five side-scrolling stages.
Regardless, I still consider this game a solid enough shooter. Graphics are good, music is great, and with four difficulty levels (one unlockable), the replay value is pretty high.
Enjoy the playthrough.
@katchum In that case, I don't know. Burai Fighter Deluxe only has the five bosses featured in the playthrough, and none of them match your description. Sorry to be of little help. :-\

@SimSeventyNine I know it was on the Game Boy, because I never played NES.

@katchum Perhaps the boss you're thinking of was in the NES version?

Is it my imagination but I remembered a boss that is turning in circles and had 4 parts. You had to attack it from the inside out. I'm sure it's not my imagination, but why can't I find it in this video?
