  • he respected his son enough not to pretend he liked or understood his music.

  • To all those morons who over the years, defaced and painted graffiti all over the cemetery and Jim's grave, showed a complete lack of respect and decency.

  • Jim's dad showed some dignity

  • Jim had a great dad and sis

  • @UrukTheRed LOL and probably he was, many people glorify Jim but I pretty much doubt he was anybody you could be comfortable around. Though what girls consider a cocky asshole might not always really be an asshole at all :D They just don't understand that highschool kids want some pussay sometime

  • I don't understand dubstep. If my son became dubstep superstar, would I ge evil if I didn't want to listen to that (in my eyes) shit... I wouldn't understand what's so special in there anyways. So I'd rather just respect what he does rather than sit, listen and say "how can anybody listen to this kind of sh**?"

  • @fleshchef1 I think if Jim was alive he'd eventually return to the family. After all when a man becomes older his world view also changes and he'd start to understand Admiral Morrison and his point of view more too...

  • 99 was the backdoor before jim ever ate chicken,,99 99 was a real BACK DOOR MAN,, JIM WAS A GOODIE,, WHAAAAAAAAAAA,,, 99

  • JAck ass and his sister,, id runn in a minute,, 99 says they screwballs, .. 99

  • Jims father embodied everything Jim was against he was the counter culture frontman and his dad was the opposing war ..pressured to succeed and accept the mainstream america man.

  • Jim was a great artist and one of the first bands I enjoyed. I think sometimes people get his art confused with his personal life. To preform is one thing to have a life is another. Let his family rest and just enjoy what he gave us. Riders on the storm is still my favorite driving song. :)

  • very careful well said said piece
