It has been said that when Diana doesn't like to share a stage she has no problem letting her colleagues know it through gesture, etc..That could have been the problem. She could have had to catch a flight. Who knows?

I agree. Gladys is one of my favorite singers--I am always surprised that she isn't more renowned as a singer. She might not have the range of Patti or Chaka, but she always sounds full and powerful. To me, she and Nona Hendryx are similar sounding and I love both of them

She sures does. The Empress' voice is as rich and full as ever and tonally, one of the most beautiful in all of comtemporary music. Gladys' powerful voice is booming without shouting.

This was okay, it would've been a treat if Aretha attend but that collosium isn't big enough for all those legendnettes of talent.

diana ross wasn't in the finale because basically they didn't want all that weave on the stage i mean some stars no how to keep it to a minumum for the camera but not her. God rest her soul is she still living i thought she was outta here after they redid the the wizard of oz lol
