From the Columbia LP "Bill Withers Making Music, Making Friends". An intriguing back story to this is that Bill was ready to hang up his guitar and tamboree and walk away from the music biz due to the inherent corruption, and consigning Africano artists to narrow genres and promotional exposure. That would have been the end I say, if it weren't for some(and I mean many) big names in the music industry dragging Bill back virtually kickin' and screamin'.
