@TheGoldenEyedboy It's routed through Viper's systems remotely.. There's no direct connection with your iPhone and the vehicle. Viper's remote system links the two.
-
@Badbrad416 It was started for a matter of seconds..?

shit sucks you have to pay 49.99 for it yearly, AND! then can limit how many times you use it per month. WTF... WHAT A GAY

This is an amazing app. Though I'm sure it has practical applications, I'd probably only use it to scare people in the parking lot.

Idiot! Don't show your passcode!
-
you started your car with with garage door closed...
-
Why does it take a few seconds for the commands from the viper app to go to the car
-
I've seen other vids reviewing this smart start feature, and the response time is quick on yours; anyway to turn the dialog boxes off (unlock command sent, lock command sent, etc)?
-
Why do ur lights stay on..
I would recommend getting it installed professionally if your not very electrically inclined. If you can read the electrical schematic for your model car to find what wires you need it's not too bad. I worked for a car audio shop in high school, so I have an unfair advantage. LoL Best Buy or any local car audio dealer that sells Viper Car Alarms should be able to get you fixed up.

You have to leave your Heater/AC Controls on when you get out of the car. Thanks for all the comments guys!

@Mantis2407 DDS 900 from Telstart is better then Iphone and viper smart start. You can use the DDS 900 with any kind of telephone to start your car and you d'ont pay ANY montly fees.
DDS900 FROM TELSTART THE BEST FOR THE HALF PRICE !!

@cbelisimmo You need to do your research buddy before you start talking. There is a yearly fee of 39.99, with the 1st year included with the purchase. I couldn't find any information about the DDS 900 from Telstart. I have been very pleased with the Viper SmartStart system. I Highly Recommend!

@Mantis2407 So wait, there's not monthly fee for the Viper SmartStart right? Did you install it yourself?

@makaveli19860 I just recently renewed my service for $49.99 a year. I have been very pleased with the service. I have yet to have any issues with the Viper SmartStart. It's well worth the yearly fee when the hot days of summer & the cold days of winter are here.
