"Just because the graphics are better doesn't mean the game is better" STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI, DEATH STAR BATTLE for Atari 2600!!!! CGRHD uses the Force and flies the Millenium Falcon into the heart of the Death Star. You play as Lando Calrissian, former administrator of Cloud City (he first appeared in The Empire Strikes back when he was hitting on Princess Leia... and who can blame him? Played by Billy Dee Williams who is also known for his awesome Colt 45 commercials "Works every time")

Even though this games doesn't have the awesome Star Wars theme, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader or C3-PO and R2-D2, it does have unique Atari Star Wars action. It's an interesting retro, classic, arcade style video game, check out this cartridge. Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The HD series is reviewing PS3, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. Xbox Live Arcade XBLA.

  • In the Super Hyper Special Edition of the films, Han shoots third. Greedo shoots twice, misses both, and then Han shoots back finally.

  • Only if your eyes don't work and you didn't grow up in the '80s.

  • I loved this game when I was a kid.

  • yeah george lucas did start making some unique choices with the special effects.

  • @bluedrache

Goldeneye would like to have a word with you.

So would Super Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. All the Rogue Squadrons and the Tie Fighter/X-Wing titles for the pc, would too.

  • dude seems a little rough on this game during the review. But for a 2600 game in the mid to early 80's, this isn't too bad at all. But I agree the New Star wars movie went a "tad" overboard with the special effect.

  • All games based on moves suck. This one is no exception. A shame, actually. The only game that didn't suck was the coin-op vector graphics Atari cabinet "Star Wars" ...

  • I LIKE THIS INTRO CGR MASTER. YOU SHOULD USE IT MORE

  • s´tarwars starwars man on atari it looks great
