sure. i'd like to see that. you have no idea what you are talking about. i'm at 600 hp at the flywheel which is over 500hp at the rear wheels. the new mustang rear end is god awful ugly anyway. i have an 09 roush 429R so i am a fan of mustangs too, but wouldn't want the new 5.0. it's a great engine, but i hate the new body style.

@usmc22ss looks like you have no clue what your talking about.... im saying this because i have spents lots of time and money in my cars and i know what power range your in..500 at the wheels... thats the funniest thing i have heard lately, if you are going to open your mouth have the dyno sheets to prove it or keep it shut.....

another loudmouth who turns into a tough guy when they are on the internet. i didn't say i have 500rwhp from what's on the video. that's an old video. if you read the other comments you would see i have a techco supercharger, kooks headers, 87 mm TB, etc. and i do have the dyno sheets. they are posted on challengertalk

@usmc22ss This may sound like a stupid question. I see you got the manual transmission. Is it best to get the manual over the auto? And traditionally when this car was introduced in the 60's, did they traditionally equip it with a manual or auto transmission? Thanks and sweet video... I wish I could afford one.

@georgio941 I got the manual because it's more fun to drive, but the automatics are actually faster at the track so it depends what you like. The new Challenger is modeled after the 1970 Challenger and if I remember right it came standard with a 3 speed manual or optional 4 speed manual or the torqueflite automatic. I think the R/Ts were 4 speed manuals.

@georgio941 hey just wanted to mention, not only does the manual cost more, i believe it has the gas guzzler tax because it dosent have the MDS model engine when the automatic does have the MDS. so the auto carries no guzzler tax. they said when it changes back and forth from 4cyl and 8 cyl you would be shifting gears more than you would be driving in the city unless you were on the open highway. so the computer does it for you in the auto. thats y it dosent have the tax when the man.does.
