I'm confused. You said that the quart jar of solution that you made would treat 200 gallons of water but you used 3/4 of a cup to treat less then one gallon. That doesn't seem to compute. Any help would be appreciated.
@BIGMUDDYDOG Good catch. For the sake of a speedy reaction in the video, I did use more of the alum concentration than necessary. In a real world setting, I would be using this same process to clarify water by the 55 gallon barrel. A 55 gal. barrel of water would require about a pint of the alum solution. Municipal water districts use alum to clarify water in tanks holding several hundred thousand gallons. Thanks for your reply.
