  • I think the most underrated Canadian band is Streetheart. Their cover of under my thumb is awesome. They are in my top 10. I can't say I'd put Helix or Our Lady Peace in my top 10 either, but its your list, who cares what anyone else thinks of it. By sales the number one Canadian artist would be Bryan Adams, funny how no one is saying anything about him in the comments.

  • I like your choices, but agree with recordspd's comments. My list would also include PRISM!!

  • Great choices! I,d add Chilliwack, Moxy, Triumph, Prism, Hammersmith, Zon, Headpins and the Ian Thomas Band.

  • Thank God you didn't include Nickleback

  • WOW no Bryan Adams....very surprised there, way better Album sells and chat hits than most of whats up there

  • Barenaked Laides

  • Max Webster...nice to see them on the list. I would add Triumph as well.

  • Oh and don't forget Matthew Good Band!!!

  • No one mentions Danko Jones, Filter, I Mother Earth, Tragically Hip, Moist, The Tea Party, Big Sugar, Big Wreck, Econoline Crush???

    Esp Big Sugar come on!

  • Another great band from Canada was Bearfoot aka Atkinson Danko and Ford...

  • @juliannebrownify Thank god somebody out there knows good music!

When the Band toured as the Hawks, with Ronnie Hawkins, they were one of the best blues/rock bands....in the world. I followed them every where I could, at that time. They were absolutely incredible.
