That's certainly not true in any respect. Metallica *does* utilize a lot of minor pentatonic-based riffs (in other words, bluesy), but so does Stevie Wonder and literally thousands of other jazz, rock, metal and funk artists. Using those minor pentatonic riffs can lead to some samey-sounding riffs, but I'd like to see you show how One and Seek and Destroy use the same riffs.

How about a mashup of Superstitious with Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer? Peter stole the horn parts from Stevie in his song anyway, so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch. ("I kicked the habit" section)
