    Great observation.

People are dreaming to think those guys could fight outside their respective eras.

  • @kingdarius1991

No way; sports - all sports have evolved, including boxing.

None of those guys you mentioned would make it out of round one in any MMA match, and against today's boxers, they'd never crack the top 20.

Marciano just was not that good - fighting old men who gave him his best fights.

    That's reality.

  • @MaximalLife, Those "old small" guys ur talking about.. Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, Joe Walcott, were still twice the size of marciano. And he still pummeled them. He probably could stand up to Holmes, Larry didn't punch nearly as hard as him, and didn't fair so well under constant punishment. Boxers were bettr THEN.. not now. Back then, they had no choice but to work out the hard way, run 20+ miles, and actually cared about the sport. Boxing is dying now.. all the greats are gone...

In his era - fighting old, small guys - sure. Rocky did everything asked of him. Do you really believe he'd have stood up to a 210 lb Larry Holmes? That's like saying Jack Krammer would beat Novak Djokovic - lol It's not fair to compare athletes from different eras. Sports evolve. We're better today - much better.

  • @illmatic826 I agree - Marciano was the best of his era and a class act. Great guy! The truth is he just was not that skilled and only dominated in a time when the division was weak. That's reality, and that's not a knock against Rocky - just the truth.

  • Marciano was unbeatable... period!

  • @MaximalLife Trevor Berbick would of beat marciano LMFAO

  • @MaximalLife this would be a 19 second fight marciano aint shit

  • Marciano could have all the heart in the world but heart cant stop you from getting your ass whipped. Tyson wins this fight in 19 seconds easy.

  • Marciano was a tough fellow Italian who did everything anybody could have expected of him. And outside the ring, he was always a class act. He's got more character than anybody who ever held the title. OK, having said that...

Tyson would've KILLED MARCIANO. Ali would have stopped him inside 5. Folks, he was tough and again, one hell of a guy. He emerged at a time when the division was dominated by older men and blown up light-heavyweights. Marciano would not even make into the top 50 today.
