I disagree. the creativity and fantasy of maradona, platini and pele.. what on earth are you talking about? Did you see the goal against russia in the 1988 final? Did you see his header from outside the box? None of those players would even attempt those shots. Besides, I don't know why you think Platini is of the same level as Pele and Maradona, because he isnt. He hasnt won a World Cup, neither has van Basten. That's the difference.

I did not say that van Basten is a weak player: I stated that he is the most effective striker off all times.
What do you want more?
But you must agree that he was less spectacular.
As far as platini is concerned, he did not play at the same level of of Maradona and Pele', but he was at least as skillfull as van basten
