Kanak TV Video: Suspended BJD MLA Debasis Nayak criticizes party leadership

In a bid to silence his critics in the party, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday struck by suspending former minister Debasis Nayak from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for indulging in anti-party activities. Announcing the action against Nayak, Naveen told mediapersons that there will be no more suspension for the time being. A two-line order was later issued by the party. Though partymen were waiting for the developments throughout the day, Naveen announced the decision after a function to inaugurate the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Institute in the evening.
