  • eric seems stoned

  • @Kaaawa2000 I got to know Eric at Hazelden in Center City, MN. We stayed in touch and caught up with each other for years after rehab but, unfortunately, he just finally became too difficult and out of it to deal with. He called me on Thanksgiving the year we got out of rehab, and told me he was taking Xanax and drinking heavily - the same thing that put me into Hazelden to begin with. Sad, sad story but, like GreatBig, I'm not surprised.

  • It astounds me that not only would Skip Lowe be in the position of interviewing such a wide variety of interesting and influential people, but that he would ruin the interviews by talking all over his guests.

The point at which he asked Eric Douglas to relay a past story...He then interjects to the point where he himself is telling the story.

  • Douglas performed stand-up in New York City his status as the 'black sheep' of the Douglas dynasty. Douglas run ins with the law bringing him notoriety.

Douglas performed off-Broadway at the Village Gate Theater with Noo Yawk Tawk in the 80s. In 1991, with his father in "Yellow", the Season 3 finale of the television series Tales from the Crypt, as a young officer in World War I brought up on charges of cowardice by his commanding general, who is also his cold-hearted father. 2004passing

  • skip e lowe is hilarious in this interview. he is trying so hard not offend eric that he is so far on the odd side. lol

  • I knew him in Hartford, CT in the early 70s and then in LA in the 90s. A very troubled guy. We were good friends. Sad to hear of his passing but I'm not surprised.

  • I knew Eric when were both in the Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas. Hopefully someday that place will be revealed for the utter scam that it was.

I was very saddened to hear about his death.

It was nice to see Eric and hear him talk, thanks for posting this.

  • this is a good find!!!
