Les Baroques were a Dutch band with a French name who recorded in English.

"Silky", their first single, is a classic of baroque folk-rock, reminiscent of The Left Banke as well as predating English folk-rock groups like Pentangle, Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention, and The Strawbs.

  • This is exactly the music I have been searching for for years...thanks you for sharing.

  • and then, sometime during the 21st century, I heard Young Folks (peter bjorn and john) or Pumped up Kicks (foster the people) and thought of you. Love love love.
