Why should anyone trust this "FAIR" organization which erroneously said that domestic violence went up 40% on Super Bowl Sunday, and based this claim on a newspaper columnists' dream sequence?

Single payer does have popular support. How does it get blocked from mainstream media? Is there some group or alliance of groups that is powerful enough to control or strongly influence almost all the mainstream media? Or are all the people working in media so disconnected from average people that they're trapped in a collective media bubble where they only hear what other media people are saying? Spouting some vitriol about some no-mark pundits and a war criminal does not make one 'left-wing'. It's about substance over style, or policy over polemics. Something that American poitics (or any other country for that matter) is sadly lacking in.
