"Go Green!" was written by the Montecito Union School 2009 - 2010 Songwriting class, taught by Lanny Sherwin. Recorded at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara's Music Box Studio (Exec Dir, Phil Gilley, add'l piano, Lizzy King).

Go Green!
Verse 1:
Walking along on Butterfly Beach,
Can't believe what I see:
Plastic bags and Coca-Cola Cans,
Someone's been littering.
Styrofoam boxes on hiking trails,
Trash floating on the sea,
Why do people treat nature that way?
Makes me want to scream!

Chorus:
Go Green! Every day,
Go Green! In every way.
If we keep garbaging up the world,
I hate to think where we'd be,
So, come on, join our team,
Go Green!

It seems that people are the problem
But they're the solution, too.
By working together, we can be better
Recycle, reduce, reuse.
Then animals will keep their habitats,
The air will be safe to breathe,
Making good choices saves resources
It's up to you & me.
