Zen Garcia explores the numerous accounts of bombs blowing up the levees in New Orleans, largely ignored by the mainstream press who only acknowledge individuals who claim they heard or saw the levees being blown as 'conspiracy theorists.'
While there have been other filmmakers such as Spike Lee who has covered this topic, Zen Garcia presents this issue in such a way that no doubt can remain as to what really did happen on that fateful day.
SOMEONE ANSWER NE THIS PLZ....how does a 19 year black male go to jail for selling crack since he has no way of gettin a job yet our gov't can do this and at the end jus basically say "our bad" n its ok? why arnt these dudes in jail? y isnt bush sued ir on trial for all the deaths and 120 trillion dollars he lost in his 8 years
@5anelso Not true. I was there too and we were beihng warned by at least the Friday before, though people were talking about it before that. By Saturday, they were issuing SEVERE warnings. There were PSAs BEGGING people to take it seriously because it might be the worst natural disaster in US history & could potentially bury NOLA. I heard that on the radio & TV with my own ears.
@ZipOnOver Not true at all. We were talking about the possiblity of this one being the big one on Friday & it hit on Monday & the people I was talking with already knew about it for a day or two. It was a Cat 5 on Sunday & dropped to a Cat 3 that night. It was also headed STRAIGHT to NOLA, then shifted East toward MS Gulf Coast. They were giving us SEVERE warnings, saying this could be the end of NOLA & the Gulf Coast all weekend. There were more severe warnings on Katrina than ever.
@5anelso The weather channel was telling everyone how deadly and dangerous this thing was around 5 days in advance. category 5, 165 mph winds, gusting over 200mph, moving north, perfectly circular, 90 degree waters lying ahead. they compared it to camille. city is under sea level. the levees were weak. this was the perfect storm and warnings were FAR in advance.
wow we cant let "OUR" government off that easy...look how fast they got there to relieve the tsunami victims IN ANOTHER COUNTRY....our citizins were not responded to fast enough after katrina and they were on their own soil..........
