I'm quite sure this studio is top notch and I for one think the music in the background is pretty good. My only problem with this video is that you come off a little condescending in your presentation. That is never a good sales strategy. But I hope to see more from you.

The thing about home recording is that you can only multitask for so long. These studios are equipped with the best gear and an educated engineer. These guys will always be better than the novice (like me) and they're worth every penny.

This kind of studio will never go out of style. Personally, I work on stuff at home and eventually, if I run out of options and exhaust my resources, I will go to a place like this. These guys go to school for this and will always know more than the novice (like me). And thank god they're around.

I totally agree 100 %!! The vibe is different when you're in a professional studio working on a project, therefore the out come of the project is a hell of a lot better including the sound and quality of the music or project you're working on.

The fuck is this? why the hell would i spend tens of thousands of dollars on a recording studio? i have a ghetto studio nigga and all i use is an audio technica AT-2020 and my trusty Behringer Xenyx 1222fx all for just 400 dollars.

it's worth the investment if you are a seasoned engineer/ex musician that already has a top notch project studio and needs to take the next step and has potential investors. It's not worth the investment if you are a 9-5 office worker who happens to be well educated on the workings of a studio that randomly decides "Gee, I want to take out a 5 million dollar bank loan and start a studio". The go big or go home mentality is stupid, you have to start from the ground up in music.

My friends band spend 30 grand recording a cd that didn't do anything and it was good. If you plann on dropping that kind of money on people who you dont really even know will make you sound good, (unless you get Rick rubin) it would be a better idea to take that 30 grand and spend it on your own preamps and an excellent a/d converter and a mac pro and do it yourself. Might take a bit longer if you havent used the software and gear before, then sell the gear if it bombs.big studio's are out now.

i have read some of the comments and agree with u about having a big studio,i'm about to build one me self, not as big as yours but i will get there in a few years...some one told me years ago,if you put crap sound into your computer crap sound will come out so that's why u invest in world class gear...
I have a question i hoped u would help me with, what console to buy which preamps sounds good, like about 30 channels to begin with...i've got a ramsa prosonic at the moment.thanx for the vid!

@pavko48 I've come across a lot of artists with that same view. The problem is, they end up spending all this time on recording, editing, and mixing in a home project studio (not to mention the cost of buying their own recording gear) and they end up with a crappy sounding album that nobody but their friends want to listen to. And then when they try to make important connections in the music industry, people don't take them seriously because they're album doesn't sound professional.
its worth the investment if you are rich, but if you're a band that wants to get there music heard, why would you spend thousands of dollars on a project, when you could go to a decent project studio, and get an ok sounding record. i bet half the people that end up listen to it dont give a shit about how good your snare drum or your guitar tone is :P but it all depends on where you are in life i guess.. cool video

Remember, our clients are those who are investing in their recordings (seeking a financial gain for their recording product produced). In order to gain financial rewards for their recordings, it has to compete in a marketplace where there are 1000's of bands trying to earn the consumer's dollar. Generally our clients want the studio that best suits their recording project's needs, and many times it is a professional recording studio.

What a nice setup in the professional recording studio! Is recording in a professional studio better than doing it at home? If so, why?

there are advantages and disadvantages to both. home studios can be more comfortable as you may not be working on the clock, but they can be more time consuming if the musicians cannot all record together at the same time. most home studios don't have multi million $ equipment, but average gear that just gets by. thus when you go to mix and master, you only have average sounding tracks to work with. big selling projects have been done in home studios. at that point its all about the producer.
