I played Keyboards in the Concord Hotel Lounge back in the 60's, and Machitos band would perform at the hotel in the summer. I would go into the main room and stand behind the band stand, and listen to that band play.. It was the greatest and a good learning experience for me. I even became friendly with a couple of the band members, and we would hang out together when we were both on a break..... Fun Times

Graciela is Mario's Aunt. Graciela was Macho's younger sister and is still performing and still has the best voice ever at 93 years young

Oh yeah... it reminds me of something, I met this man's grandson(not joking).I really met his grandson. His grandson is not full of excitement on his work. But that kid also don't get excited on other stuff.

I loved Machito. He was great and I still enjoy his music, but one thing Mario didn't mention was his aunt the great singer Graciela. AY Jose asi no es!!!!!
