First of several recordings dedicated to Gordana Jevtovic-Minov, Primadonna of The Opera of The National Theatre Belgrade,Serbia. Unfortunately, she passed away too early. This is homage to too early gone Gordana. She sang about 38 years, and over 50 roles. Susanna was one of her bests!

  • Jeez, I'm 15 and I have to sing this. O_o

Somehow it sounded much easier when my teacher played it.....

  • Idraote is right. The recitatives need speed because they are supposed to represent conversation, in this case thought, and we tend to speak a bit faster than this, which is what she should have done. But I would guess that the reason for this tempo is so that she can demonstrate her other skills like super long breaths, perfect legato and endurance. In any case, great job!

  • Jao, prelepo... sledila sam se... Ova aria ne moze da mi dosadi..

  • I sing this and I have to agree somehow with idraote. The aria is sung really beautifully and her voice is perfect. But the first "part" is recitative - has to be a little more said than sung. Suzanna is rather a smart and quick-thinking girl, not a weak, romantic lady. And here she is not in a very comfortable situation, so it would be better, if she were a little more nervous...just my opinion.

  • wow- when was this video made?! I remember her in mid 80's. Excellent Suzana! Greetings to the sky, Gordana!

  • lovely high soprano voice but unfortunately Mozart was one of those composers who used the sounds of a language to add to the music. the recitative is flat, in the whole of the scene words are slurred: this way we just have a pretty aria, not the triumph of sheer sensuality Mozart intended

  • No more artists like Her anymore...

    BRAVISSIMA !!!
