The steam Hooter at Trencherfield Mill Engine, Wigan. The engine and a cotton spinning demo is free to view at 11am and 1pm on Sundays. Ask the demonstrators if you want to hear this whistle, but be warned it is loud, and can be heard up to 5 miles way!!!
