There is a purpose for everything.

In my opinion.. memorizing chess oppenings.. isn´t as important as studying engames or mid-games. If your going to study or practice anything in chess, It should proboubly be the "end game"

The first one was kind of pointless. I thought the point of an openning was a way to get the game on your side sooner in the game?
