This video shows shows a location portrait session using Strobist-style lighting. The intention is to show assembly, shoot and tear down. The entire shoot took less than 15 minutes with a brief recess while I ran to retrieve umbrellas from our bigger lighting kit.

  • most boring shoot i' ve ever seen

  • I did this entire thing alone, so there's really nothing I can do without a videographer in tow. The subject doesn't allow for it to be a fun shoot. It's a practical portrait assignment. Few magazines require girls in bikinis.

  • What is a Strobist Style Kit?

  • Yes. The point of the video is to illustrate how quickly it can be set up and torn down. However, the video still has to be faster than real speed or it would be too long for your interest.
