This was the first demonstration of the first ST240 production machine. It has the ability to build a 24" full bench trail. The ultimate trail building machine. Less impact, more fun, thats what we need more of.

  • At that rate he'll cover 100 yards a day. Pitiful!

  • @MyMax1959 , It built 60 feet in 20 minutes. With our own now we have had days where on such sloped we have built 1,200ft. Considering the alternative is hand building, I think it's pretty impressive. It's not a SWECO and it doesn't want to be.

  • cool idea im sure very costly! and i wouldnt want to be sittin in that thing on the edge of super steep slick rock! even thought you can control by a remote wrong move and that thing could roll of the side and it would be gone just like that. might as well stick to the traditional way! great idea though

  • That is cool! Mtn bike trails made to order!

  • Oh man, that is impressive... I also love all the people standing around watching. It looks just like the construction workers on my street. 1 Backhoe driver and 10 city works talking about his driving.

  • what trail in wilits are they building with this i live in ukiah and wilits is only 30 mins away

  • All the old people are sure impressed. makes a nice fat trail to ride thier hybrid bikes on.

  • I know hand building trail is hard work, but come on. Why do we need to build trails through natural areas with machines? Heres to hand built trail.

  • looks very expensive..

  • The demo guy isn't very good in this video, but clearly the machine would be great with a skilled operator. In the fellow's defense, he might not have had much chance to practice prior to this. And remote control? Wow!
