  • @JonDavidson My videos are on Youtube. I built a 9-foot diameter flying saucer that I am still working on, for Team Searl, at TeslaTech2010 in Albuquerque New Mexico.

  • @Beamshipcaptain , well where is it, Mr. electrostatic physics expert? Why don't you show your "largest VTOL in the world since 1999?" Since you have a "body of published works", what the hell are you looking at silly videos by amateurs on YouTube??? (note the three question marks; they denote intensity of sarcams).

  • Ion-wind is far too weak a force to eaven cause movement, and there ia n upper-physical limit to ion-thrust. But this Biefeld-Brown effect is non-linear, and force is exponetial with increasing Voltage, adn there is NO limit to the force.

  • I'm of the opinion that this is an ion jet engine. Something not far removed from STAR TREK's impulse drive or the a TIE fighter in STAR WARS. However, that too has it's pluses. No moving parts, little or no noise, would be relatively inexpensive to build, in space a small amount of ionized propellant can take a vehicle quite far. I am fascinated.

  • The only reason this works so well, on so little input electrical-energy is SEPARATION of charge. That is why higher K-factor and higher MASS dielectrics typically produce the most force in these devices, and typically also in Vacuum, as in Hector Serrano's patented ELECTRIC ROCKET.

  • A "leaky dielectric" like styrofoam works well...

  • more orange wires and more pointy connections on the front of the wing to the thin wire will increase its power..

  • in the video see frame 102 see the very thin wire in front of the flying wing? the orange wire, now look at the yellow wire, both come in contact with the solid dielectric, but the foil also contact the foam. current is flowing between them. making a difference in voltages in the wing itself. keeping the wing out of electrical equilibrium. please explain what you see..

  • as you know in a lifter, the foil has a greater surface for electricity to flow over, and a thin wire that come in communication to the larger manifold, the saucer, Brown separated the wire between the saucer with very sharp needles i seen the patent too.. as long as electrical equilibrium is not reached the voltage stays very high, just like you said, thats why its important to have good flow of current..
