Welcome :) Taupo, Manfield and Pukekohe I reckon? Got a few vids from a fellow Kiwi in an Alfa Romeo on our website on these tracks. Looking forward to the vids.
I will put a few vids of my Elise S1 on Zandvoort (Netherlands), Abbeville and Croix-en-Ternois with Lotus-on-Track in France on YouTube end of next month.

Thankyou! :) And I agree!
Check out my favourites for a couple of quick flyby vids of the Exige on track... it's being rebuilt at the moment and there will be more footage of it online once it hits the track again! :)

Congrats on the Exige! The only proper replacement for an S1 Elise ;)

the 4 inline seems to be the most agile engine.
lotus , ariel, x-bow,... all use 4 inline

I hate the sound elises put out. Sounds to close to a civic and dont sound at all exotic.

That would be my pick as the best car. The S1 is more "raw", more "direct". Perhaps not as reliable, or as practical/comfortable as the later cars, but it's the best to drive of the lot of them, and there's endless things you can do to modify them. I have a rare S1 Exige now, sadly had to sell the car in the vid to get it, but it was worth it... it's FANTASTIC! :)

yeh, that seems to be what everyone thinks about them! im lookin at gettin the rover engined s1! any of the other are out of my insurance range! think i'll have to have a look at a few and have a go....

Of course, I'm mad about them. I don't have an Elise any more, I've got an Exige instead, but all pretty much the same under the skin. Most fun you can have with your clothes on!
I'd have an Elise over a Civic anyday

Well, the Elises and Exige do use Toyota I4s so that explains it.
